Giving – the path of service

A thought crossed my mind of the many who seek themselves, searching for answers to their distress, and solution for their illnesses.

How often do we hear the sentence “if only God or higher force would help me recover my health, help me in my distress… I would give everything I own.”

I often witnessed such promises.

Certainly you were in a similar situation too.

We take hundreds and thousands of decisions and make promises to ourselves that we will change.
God, the Universe, higher force is observing and sending us omens and answers in different ways. When watching our thoughts, doubts, distress, he knows that we are not up to the task. Still, he gives us an opportunity, because we are a part of him, the creator, himself.

He knows our personal development and deep inside he sees how we are committing a “suicide”. Our mind wants the very thing which is not good for us, the thing it can’t cope with.

Because we are learning through the rises and falls, we are given an opportunity to take our own decisions, a responsibility for our actions.

Actually, at that time, at that crucial moment we believe that we are capable of persisting and getting to the end.

21 Unutar kolibeGod is quiet, observing and hoping that our selfishness will step over the edge of its own obsession.

In a moment, we can ruin our whole life, not paying regard to the inner voice which is warning us: “Remember the promise!”

Because – in our insanity – we are focused on ourselves, we don’t comprehend the essence of the art of living – giving.

Giving is the essence and the only meaning of human’s life here and now.

Giving is the power which lifts us above selfishness.

It is the energy of light, pure unselfish love, which enriches us.

It is a force in motion, which always makes space for new. The more I give, I allow that this magnificence of life flows through me, paves and shows my way.

The opposite is selfishness, the darkness which makes us shiver and pulls our fears from the depths.

We are not capable of true receiving and giving, caught in our own selfishness.

We have forgotten what we have promised to ourselves and to our soul.

Now, when I have the opportunity to fulfil my promise, I’m deaf, blind, I’m a coward hiding from the face of truth.

We have put a money tag on all values. Also the love of a child, partner, parents, friends.

We measure the value of our friend by his car, house.

What my child achieved is the label stuck on him by society.

I have no time to think about my own value.

It can happen that thinking about our own values will wake us up and remind us of the promises long forgotten.

Who among us has never uttered the sentence mentioned above: “God help me…”.

Now, in these times of great changes, we all got a chance to fulfil our promises. We were all given an opportunity to be one with all, to be a part of the creator’s grand game.

We cannot close our eyes to the distress, pain, suffering – especially of children – because of our own devaluated values.

To give – means to understand the essence of God’s will, that all goods in this world are intended for all of us.

To give – means to create the energy of love which inspires you to give to the needy, to open your hands in a blessing, to open your arms for an embrace!

Once you understand the beauty of giving, you know that giving and receiving represent the two hands of the creator.

Between his hands the creator holds and regulates his creation.
