We are a private foundation established to help, educate ..
Our motto is ”VINDOL – for children of the world”. We have already helped lots of children all around the world in past via different organizations
But at the same time we had very different experiences , so we decided to take control into our hands and start helping where we know where the money is going.
In February 2011 we visited Gasper Orehek in India to see the situation and learn about it firsthand .
We visited different villages, we talked to children, socialized with them, we listened to their problems …
We have agreed to participate in such way that VINDOL will be coordinator in Slovenia, that will search and look for godfathers and godmothers to help in education of those children in state schools.
We have further decided that the money going to children up to 5th grade will be donated, while the older children will get some sort of scholarship – a commitment that after finishing school and being employed the child will continue the chain by donating scholarship for another child in this system

Currently, our records hold up to 344 children orphaned or have only one parent.
Children are from different villages – is the seven major areas of 2,000 km.
Gasper spends major part of his time in these villages - as children need to learn the basics of hygiene, he helps them solving current problems, controlling children progress, he helps them providing school supplies, uniforms …in other words he is in contact with them on a daily base. In every single village he has assistants , volunteers who run take care of the children during his absence.
Godfather or godmother receives all information needed about the child , he/she can also correspond with him, or ask Gasper to send a report of the school progress .
He or she can also visit the child whenever wanted, just contact us for further information.
The scholarships : children up to fifth grade of primary school the amount is a 15.00 euros per month and for higher classes to 20.00 euros per month.
It is completely up to you either you choose one or more children or you want to donated more.
If you have problems selecting a child you wish to support VINDOL can do it for you.That means you can donate the amount to VINDOLs account and we send your support to the child most needing help-

Becoming a sponsor to an Indian child
In India, many children still live in suffering, powerlessness, despair and fear of poverty. Instead of going to school, children have to go to work, or begging to get a modest meal for themselves, for their family.
Do they really have no other choice?
Gašper Orehek, with his organisation TWIMC, and with the help of friends, is already helping; by enabling their schooling, and for children without parents also a roof above their head. Of course he would like to help more children. In his records, he has a considerable number of children who would be happy to have a sponsor from Slovenia, enabling them to finish school, create a better future and help others in their community.
Gašper is asking for distance sponsorship for one or several children. The children would know who their benefactor is, and the sponsor would know who he or she is helping. The sponsor will, upon his request, receive a report about the child’s progress; he will be able to correspond with the child, visit him or her in India and check by himself where the funds go.
EkoAlt Vindol Institute is an organisation in Slovenia, where data about children will be collected; all required information and contacts, as well as funds collected and transferred to India. For younger children the required minimum is 10 Euro per month, for older children from 15 to 20 Euro per month.
We already have pictures and details of children who need your help. Records are updated daily with the information we receive from Gašper. All data and photos are property of the Institute and in accordance with the Data Protection Act it is not permitted to print them or pass them on without our knowledge and permission.
